The 2019 Chevrolet Traverse has been the talk of many consumers as it has been gaining popularity since it first made its debut in 2008. The full size SUV provides both comfort and performance and goes toe to toe with many of it’s competitors. One of the biggest perks of the Traverse is that it is offered in 7 different trim levels to suit just about anyone. Today we are going to take a closer look at each trim level to give you a quick snapshot of what they all include.
L
For the Traverse, your base model is going to include the L trim which includes a 3.6 L v6 engine and 9 speed automatic transmission. Standout features include a rear view camera, StabiliTrack stability control, Teen Driver technology, HID headlights, LED daytime running lights, 18″ wheels, body color door handles, and black body side moldings.
LS
On the LS model of the Traverse, you are going to get all of the same great features as the L trim level. The LS trim offers deep tinted glass on this trim level to allow for better sun deflection to keep your car cooler.
LT Cloth
The next trim level up is going to be the LT cloth which includes all of the same features as the LS, but with a few upgrades of its own. The Tahoe is a staple in Chevrolet’s vehicle lineup and has been since its release in 1995. Closely resembling the Yukon, the Tahoe has been one of Chevrolet’s top selling full size SUV models for the past 3 decades. The 2019 Chevrolet Tahoe seems to be shaping up the same way with its three different trim levels providing you with three different setups on this SUV. Let’s take a closer look at each trim level and see exactly what comes with each package to determine which would be the best fit for you.
Each trim level is going to feature Chevrolet’s 5.3L Ecotec3 V8 engine that is putting out 355 horsepower and 383 lb-ft of torque. They will each come with a 6 speed automatic transmission and 3.08 rear gears for great towing. Other standard options include Autotrac 4wd, limited slip differential, and active fuel management.
LS
Starting with the base model Tahoe, we have the LS trim which is the most affordable option on the 2019 Tahoe. The base package is going to set the tone for each level above it as they build upon each other’s features with the base model having the most standard features. Even though the LS trim is the base trim, it has features that would make it seem like a higher level trim. On the LS trim package, you are going to get a Chevrolet Infotainment System, rear backup camera, 18″ wheels, projector headlights, LED daytime running lights, rear park assist, remote start, three zone automatic climate control, and fold-flat second and third row seats.
LT
Moving up to the second trim level on the 2019 Tahoe, we have the LT package. This package is a step above base and a step below the fully loaded Tahoe, making it a favorite among many consumers. This LT will come with many of the same features as the base package, but you will notice some additional upgrades that really set it apart from the LS level. All Chevrolet models have roadside assistance and courtesy transportation services for five years or 60,000 miles. Courtesy transportation services are extended to eight years or 100,000 miles for Bolt EV and Volt models. Each new Chevrolet is equipped with OnStar services which gives the driver access to roadside assistance services with the touch of a button. OnStar also provides customers with automatic crash response, emergency services, crisis assistance, and stolen vehicle assistance.
